Bamboo Puttu Kutti (steamer)
The natural tubular structure of bamboo with one closed end helps the food material inside to stay in shape and cook in steam unanimously. The coir wrapped around the bamboo steamer for sturdy grip while preparing food. Open end of the bamboo tube has to be closed with the lid to keep the steam flowing into the food to cook well. The coconut shell disc (part of the product) needs to be placed inside the closed end to avoid food particles getting stuck at the end of the bamboo steamer. A bamboo stick (part of the product) is provided to push the food.
Bamboo steamer can be attached to any pressure cooker nozzle with enough water to create the steam. Removing the cooked food could be through a push from the closed end of the tube or tilt the steamed veggies or fruits to the plate .

Direction to use:
Insert the metal disc given, into the steamer and make sure it is as close to the closed end . Add the food materials through the open end and place the steamer over a pressure cooker nozzle. Once the food is steamed enough. Slowly tilt it towards the plate, use the wooden stick (part of the product) and gently press it towards the coconut shell coin (part of the product) placed at the bottom just above the stopper.
